According to the draw, Armenia is in Group C to rival the Czech Republic, Wales, Montenegro and Andorra. President of the Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan said that the name of the Armenian team coach will be announced after the draw. All 53 member associations of UEFA have registered for the competition with final tournament hosts Israel qualifying automatically. The remaining 52 teams will take part in qualifying, with the teams split into ten groups, two of six teams and eight of five.
