Turkey produces Artillery Forward Observer Simulator for AzerbaijanFebruary 5, 2011 - 17:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The process of preparation of Artillery Forward Observer Simulator (AFOS) produced by Turkish HAVELSAN company for the Azerbaijani armed forces has finished. The company has already transferred the project to the Turkish Defense Ministry. Azerbaijan is expected to complete the procedures for the Simulator’s acceptance next week, after which the system will be sent to Baku. HAVELSAN has also finished preparation of AFOS project for Georgia. Soon it will be transferred to Georgia, APA reported. AFOS system has been used in the Turkish armed forces since 2011. In 2008, HAVELSAN prepared such a system for the Defense Ministry of Pakistan.
