British Foreign Ministry warns its citizens against visiting Karabakh and Armenian regions adjacent to Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - British Foreign Ministry recommends its citizens to abstain from visiting Karabakh, as well as Armenian regions of Tavush and Gegharkunik, adjacent to Azerbaijan.

As British Embassy in Yerevan told PanARMENIAN.Net the recommendations of similar nature are being posted rather often. As recommendations note, border areas contain mines and unexploded ordnance.

As the statement notes, the British Embassy cannot provide consular assistance to citizens who are in the Nagorno-Karabakh region.
