Third of illegal immigrants penetrate into Europe through Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - European Union Border Agency Frontex announced it will strengthen security measures to cross illegal immigration through Turkey, where is the major flow of illegal immigrants for Europe.

According to Frontex, one third of illegal immigrants for Europe mainly from Afghanistan and North Africa who entered Greece by sea in 2009 have used Turkey as exit point, the Anatolian Agency reported.
