Andrey Arshavin: Russia’s outlook is pretty dim in Armenia after defeat from Iran

PanARMENIAN.Net - After Russia’s defeat in a friendly with Iran, captain of the Russian team Andrey Arshavin said that if the team displays the same football, its outlook is pretty dim even in Armenia, not to mention Euro-2012.

Answering a question of sport-express.ru whether he knows that Armenia was defeated by Georgia 1:2, Arshavin said: “I know that after a similar game in Abu Dhabi it will sound untimely, but Russia should take cue not from Armenia. Naturally, the match in Yerevan will not be an easy one, what is clear for everyone, but if we manage to regain our shape, everything will be in our hands,” concluded Arshavin.
