Problem of refugees from Azerbaijan should become part of Armenia’s national policy

PanARMENIAN.Net - NKR former foreign minister Arman Melikyan said that the problem of refugees from Azerbaijan should become a part of Armenia’s state policy.

According to him, the Armenian authorities lack a coordinated policy on the matter, in contrast to Azerbaijan. “Armenia should carry out advocacy activities in international structures, and these efforts should make a part of foreign policy,” said Melikyan.

He noted that the grant of liberated territories of NKR to refugees may be an option for the problem resolution. “It will be a partial compensation for them. Refugees from Azerbaijan should also apply to international organizations for their problems resolution,” he concluded.
