  New Times party: Karabakh conflict can be used for exerting pressure on Iran February 11, 2011 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Leader of New Times party Aram Karapetyan said that the resumption of hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh may be used for exerting pressure on Iran. “The Karabakh conflict may serve as a detonator to destabilize the region,” Karapetyan told a press conference in Yerevan. According to him, Iran is the main target of the West now, and the region’s destabilization will definitely affect the northern part of the country populated by Azerbaijanis.
