Safar Abiyev threatens Minsk Group with “de-occupation” of lands

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan is seriously preparing for the “de-occupation” of its lands, Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev said at a meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen Robert Bradtke, Bernard Fassier and Igor Popov, as well as the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk.

“In such a situation any state would do the same. No one can accuse Azerbaijan in this matter,” he said.

During the meeting, the guests exchanged views on the situation on the contact line and, in general, over Karabakh conflict.

Abiyev said that although Minsk Group's activity has not yet yielded any concrete results, Azerbaijan has not lost hopes set on the mission, Trend reported.
