Apple’s iTunes-based subscription model will exact a 30% cut off publishers’ revenue but Google’s offering will only take a 10% cut. Some publishers, most notably Rhapsody, have bemoaned Apple's large commission. Publishers have the option to sell auto-renewable subscriptions, single articles or multiple-issue packages on One Pass. One Pass will offer to users a “purchase-once, view-anywhere functionality” so users can view content across any device, Google wrote on its product page. Mobile payments are also permitted in One Pass, CNN reported. Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
