French Foreign Ministry recommends refraining from trips to NKR![]() February 17, 2011 - 14:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The French Foreign Ministry urged its citizens to refrain from trips to Nagorno Karabakh. “Incidents are recorded on these territories regularly, while antipersonnel mines pose a real threat in the eastern part of Armenia,” the French Foreign Ministry said on its official website. It also said that the French citizens visiting Nagorno Karabakh are not provided with consular services of the French embassy in Yerevan. The report also says that Azerbaijan poses a threat to foreign citizens due to acts of terrorism. Earlier, the German and British foreign ministries issued similar warnings. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
