Maxim Vengerov dreams of recording Khachaturian’s violin concerto

PanARMENIAN.Net - World-known violin virtuoso and conductor, Grammy award winner Maxim Vengerov said he loves Armenian music, while Aram Khachaturian is a genius composer for him.

The musician told a press conference in Yerevan that he dreams of recording Khachaturian’s violin concerto. Besides, he would like to perform symphonic works of the Armenian composer.

Vengerov added that he visited Sergei Parajanov’s museum during his visit to Yerevan and was very impressed.

“Unfortunately, I have not managed to visit many sites, planning to do it after the concert,” he concluded.
