Armenia’s agriculture continues decliningFebruary 21, 2011 - 15:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 2.5% decline was recorded in Armenia’s agriculture in January 2011 compared to the same period in 2010. The gross volume of agricultural products amounted to AMD 18,464.2mln in the country during the reporting period, the RA National Statistical Service Reported. 14.5% drop was recorded in agriculture by the end of 2010. Growth was recorded in all fields of Armenia’s economy, except for agriculture, while trade remained unchanged. According to updated statistical data, 0.9% (AMD 10.514.0mln), 24.3% (AMD 62,839.6mln) and 5.7% (AMD 63,316.8mln) growth was recorded in the construction industry, field of services and industry respectively.
