Minister for Energy of Armenia Karen Galustian denied the information about the sale of energy generating entities of Armenia. The Minister said today to "Hayastani Hanrapetutiun" paper that the tender on privatization of distributive power networks would take place as scheduled. If there are any changes in privatization agreement, they will not be significant, Galustian says. Leader of Armenian Democratic Party Aram Sarkisian said on April 18 that the American AES Silk Road conducted negotiations with the governmental circles of Armenia concerning changes of terms of tender and including of energy generating entities in the list of units to be privatized. The results of tender on privatization of 4 distributive power networks of Armenia will be announced on April 22, and the agreement on sale-purchase of the shares must be signed till April 29.
