Nintendo said it had shipped out 400,000 3DS units to Japanese retailers ahead of the launch, according to The Wall Street Journal Blog. The Nintendo 3DS feature is to create the illusion of 3-D games without requiring special glasses. It has 2 screen: diagonal of the first screen is 3,53 inch and the second is 3,02 inch.
