Nalbandian: Yerevan hasn’t decided on OSCE Secretary General candidature yet![]() March 1, 2011 - 20:55 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - It’s time for Austria to open a diplomatic representation in Yerevan, according to Armenian Foreign Minister. As Edward Nalbandian noted in an interview with Der Standard Austrian newspaper, “we opened our embassy in Vienna many years ago. Our aim is to take our relations to a much higher level.” When asked if Armenia will support Former Austrian foreign minister Ursula Plassnik’s candidature for Secretary General of the OSCE, the Foreign Minister stated, “we haven't decided on the candidates yet. But concerning the Turkish candidate we stated that we cannot support him because Turkish representatives in different international organisations generally differ with their biased approaches and do not waste any opportunity in order not to express themselves against Armenia’s position.” ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
