Coalition parliamentary groups support the candidacy of Karen Andreasyan; ARF Dashnaktsutyun intends to vote against. According to Armenian Constitution, the candidature of the Ombudsman should be supported by a minimum of 1/5 MPs; a minimum of 3/5 MPs is required to vote in favor of the Ombudsman-to-be-elected.
