10 hearing-challenged children may be operated on for free in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Union of Disabled (Pyunik) and The Sound World Russian-Australian company have launched a joint program, which envisages free-of-charge surgery for 10 hearing-challenged children under age of 3 during the current year.

As the program manager of Pyunik, Ruzanna Sargsyan stated at news conference in Yerevan, 3 children to be operated on have been already selected.

The owner and CEO of Caro& Co and The Sound World Russian-Austrian companies, Roza Alpert stressed the importance of the mission, which will enable children’s return into the world of sounds.

As she noted, the first choice will be given to children from socially vulnerable families. The selection will last till the end of March.
