Government will introduce bill suppressing price upsurge for some products

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Government intends to introduce a new bill aimed at suppression of price upsurge for products included in social basket.

As Armenian Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan stated at March 2 parliamentary hearing, in case of price upsurge, the bill will allow the government to suppress prices for vital products during 90 days.

As the Minister stated, the draft law will be discussed at the next governmental sitting. Price monitoring remains the focus of the authorities’ attention, he added.
