Armenian churches in Turkey used as tourist decoy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay visited an Armenian church in the province of Nigde.

In the course of his visit Gunay met with Nigde’s Mayor. The Minister emphasized the importance of restoration the historic monuments in further promotion of tourist inflow. Earlier, Nigde Mayor announced his intention to restore Armenian and Greek churches, as well as clear the church-adjacent territories of the unnecessary constructions, Dikkathaber reported.
