Turgut Er awarded with Medal of Honor in TurkeyMarch 9, 2011 - 17:19 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The former spokesman of the Turkish embassy to Baku, Turgut Er, the author of From Freedom to Tyranny book, was awarded with the Medal of Honor of the Oguz Cultural Federation. The award was granted for contribution to the development of material and cultural property of Turkey. At Ankara-hosted ceremony, a special award was presented to the publishing house which released the book. Turgut Er’s From Freedom to Tyranny, revealing Heydar Aliyev’s policy, was released in Turkey. The book found a broad response in Azerbaijan and served a reason for exacerbation of the already strained Turkey-Azerbaijan relations.
