Bako Sahakyan, ARFD representative discuss Karabakh, Genocide issuesMarch 11, 2011 - 15:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 11, Paris hosted a meeting between the President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan and representative of the Central Committee of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun in the Western Europe Mourad Papazian. Way to strengthen ties with Diaspora, settlement of the Karabakh conflict, recognition of the Armenian Genocide as well as preservation of Armenian identity in the Diaspora were in the focus. The importance of coordinated work and the necessity of developing further cooperation between the organizations and political forces functioning in Artsakh and the Diaspora were mutually emphasized. Artsakh Republic permanent representative to the French Republic Hovhannes Gevorgyan also attended the meeting, the Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
