Yerevan’s Liberty Square cordoned off by the police

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan’s Liberty Square was cordoned off by the police.

As Heritage party’s press service reported, the police do not allow party leader Raffi Hovannisian, who is on hunger strike starting March 15, to put up a tent.

“It’s been 3 days since Hovannisian was forced to sleep under the open sky in Liberty Square. Police used force in preventing Hovannisian from creating some conditions for rest, with the approval of Yerevan Police Chief Nerses Hovhannesyan,” the report says.
