Shushi Foundation to resume excavations at Shushi plateau![]() March 22, 2011 - 15:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Shushi Foundation will continue excavations at Shushi plateau as well as the study of Shushi caves, the head of the Foundation stated. As Bakur Karapetyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the activities in question were suspended because of the lack of financing. To provide financial resources, Mr. Karapetyan intends to gift 8000 copies of his books to Shushi Foundation. Mr. Karapetyan called on individuals and enterprises to purchase the books, further presenting them to village schools and libraries. Donations to Shishi Foundation can be transferred via Unibank or the Foundation headquarters.
