Sergey Bondarenko: I hope to see Armenian team in final stage of European Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sergey Bondarenko, once a part of famous Ararat football team, USSR champion and holder of the USSR football cup, has arrived in Yerevan from the U.S. to participate in Armenia vs. Russia veteran match due March 25.

“I’m glad to be in Armenia,” Bondarenko said in a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. “I’m glad of the opportunity to once again play alongside my fellow teammates.”

Reluctant to predict the outcome of the oncoming Armenia vs. Russia EURO 2012 qualifier, Bondarenko, remarked, “a team that’s ready to give theirs hearts for victory will become a winner. I like both teams, but will root for Armenia, hoping to see the team in the final stage of European Championship.”
