Heritage leader expects a sign from either God or President to stop hunger strikeMarch 25, 2011 - 14:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The leader of oppositional Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian said he’ll stop the huger strike in case of receiving a sign from above, or a promise from the Armenian authorities, President or high ranking officials, to implement drastic changes in the country, including extraordinary elections. As Hovannisian, who’s been on hunger strike for 10 days, told a news conference in Liberty Square, the demand for extraordinary elections or formation of a new government is a demand of the whole nation, rather than a political whim of one citizen. “This is the demand of the nation. All I do is join it.”
