St. Petersburg festival to host Yerevan’s Stanislavski TheaterMarch 25, 2011 - 15:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Meetings in Russia, 13th international theater festival in St. Petersburg will host Yerevan’s Stanislavski Russian Dramatic Theater, the art director of the theater stated. As Alexander Grigoryan told a news conference in Yerevan, on April 29, the theater will stage Classmates performance, which draws on a play by Yuri Polyakov who’ll be present in person at St. Petersburg premiere. Meetings in Russia, St. Petersburg-hosted international theater festival was launched in 1998. Through its history, the festival featured almost every Russian-language theater from former USSR. Ara Aivazian said Azerbaijan continues the traditions of Turkey after seizing territories and forced Armenians out. The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest. She called on others to also suspend their accounts over the companies’ failure to tackle hate speech.
