RA parliament Speaker concerned over health condition of hunger striker HovannisianMarch 25, 2011 - 21:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Speaker of RA National Assembly (NA) Hovik Abrahamyan visited leader of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian, who went on hunger strike at Liberty Square on March 15, to urge him to stop the hunger strike and resume his work in the parliament. Abrahamyan said he is extremely concerned over Hovannisian’s health condition, noting that the parliament is the best place for voicing protest and launching discussions. Besides, Abrahamyan voiced concern over non-participation of Heritage parliamentary group members in NA activity. Abrahamyan was accompanied by the heads of parliamentary groups. Hovannisian expressed gratitude to the Speaker for the displayed attitude. He added that Heritage has disagreements with the authorities and it will continue its struggle in all possible ways both in Liberty Square and National Assembly.
