NKR President visits new hotel complex under construction in Stepanakert![]() March 27, 2011 - 16:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 27, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan visited the new hotel complex under construction in the capital and inspected on site the carried out activities. Mr. Sahakyan noted the importance of building such a complex in the capital, noting that the existence of a hotel meeting international standards and built in the national style could have a serious impact on tourism developmentin the republic. Minister of municipal engineering Karen Shahramanyan, Stepanakert Mayor Vazgen Mikayelyan, head of the tourism department at the Artsakh government Sergei Shahverdyan and other officials accompanied the President, the Central Information Department at the Artsakh President's Office reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
