Pierre Fattouch elected as Armenia-Lebanon friendship association chairmanMarch 28, 2011 - 12:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Beirut hosted the first sitting of Armenia-Lebanon friendship association, with well-known entrepreneur Pierre Fattouch elected as the association president. At the sitting, Armenian ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharyan congratulated those present with the official registration of the organization, expressing confidence that the active work of its members will contribute to strengthening of Armenia-Lebanon cooperation. The ambassador was offered a position of an honorary chairman. The members of the organization’s board of directors were elected. A working group to coordinate an official event due in early May was formed. The association aims at extension of Armenia-Lebanon ties in trade, culture, education, tourism and investment programs.
