  Star: Acemoglu will represent Turkey at OECD upon completion of scientific work March 31, 2011 - 17:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkey does not discriminate against its citizens based on their nationalities; we highly value the merits of world-known economist Daron Acemoglu, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated, adding that a scientist of that scale will properly represent Turkey in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris. Acemoglu expressed readiness to represent Turkish government at OECD upon completion of his scientific work, Star Turkish newspaper reported. Daron Acemoglu is a Turkish economist of Armenian origin. He is currently the Charles P. Kindleberger Professor of Applied Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and winner of the 2005 John Bates Clark Medal.
