GNC announces IP/MPLS network availability in 12 Armenian townsApril 1, 2011 - 12:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - GNC-Alfa has announced that its country-wide 10 Gbt/s bandwidth IP/MPLS network is now available also in 12 cities of Armenia: Ararat, Vedi, Artashat, Armavir, Charentsavan Hrazdan, Sevan, Yeghegnadzor, Sisian, Goris, Kapan, Dilijan. Network aggregation nodes of the company have been put into operation in the above-mentioned areas. The nodes are based upon modern US equipment supplied by Juniper Networks which enables GNC-Alfa CJSC to provide IP transit, Internet access, data communication, virtual private network (VPN) and other services to telecommunication operators, Internet Service Providers and corporate customers from these nodes. During the next six months, five more towns in three provinces will also be connected to the GNC-Alfa CJSC network.
