ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER IS UNDER SAFE PROTECTION, HEAD OF RUSSIAN FEDERAL FRONTIER SERVICE SAID

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, March 14. /Mediamax/. Head of the Federal Frontier Service of Russia (FFS) Colonel-General Konstantin Totsky said today in Yerevan that Russian frontier guards are securely protecting the Armenian-Turkish border.

Chief of FFS of Russia, who arrived in Yerevan today for a working visit, said in "Zvartnots" airport that Armenian side never laid claims to Russian frontier guards regarding the safety of protection of the Armenian-Turkish state border.

"We consider Armenia as our reliable partner and we are not going to cut down our military presence here. Unfortunately, our countries have no common border", Colonel-General said.

During his visit Totsky will meet with Armenian President Robert Kocharian, Prime Minister Andranik Margarian, Defense Minister and Secretary of the National Security Council at the President Serzh Sarkisian, Minister of National Security Karlos Petrosian. --0--
