National Gallery director rejects letter of commendation awarded by Education MinistryApril 5, 2011 - 20:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The director of the National Gallery of Armenia Faraon Mirzoyan rejected the letter of commendation issued to him by the Ministry of Education and Science. ''A letter of commendation is too insignificant of an award for an Honoured Art Worker,'' Mirzoyan said and left the letter he was presented with on the table. Mirzoyan was awarded with a letter of commendation on occasion of the 65th anniversary of Yerevan Academy of Fine Arts. The award was granted by the Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Armenian National Academy of Sciences director Radik Martirosyan as well as honoured art workers and journalists.
