As he noted in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Azerbaijan, as a loser side, continues to lay down unrealistic conditions, attempting to pressure Yerevan into ceasing Karabakh territory. The expert slammed Azerbaijan’s bellicose statements, pointing out that the West makes no effort to clearly condemn Azeri threats. As he noted, to contribute to peace building, Russia is organizing trilateral meetings. “As opposed to West, Russia is not trying to impose Madrid principles on Yerevan, instead viewing them as a basis for negotiations. Moscow’s principal position remains unaltered: the parties have to resolve the conflict peacefully,” the expert stressed. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert.
