Karabakh attaches importance to healthcare development

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 6, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan visited Stepanakert medical college and met with its teaching staff.

Activity of the institution and solution of problems faced by it were discussed during the meeting.

Mr. Sahakyan noted that the medical college had an important role in developing the sphere of health care in Artsakh and the state will implement complex programs for improving its working conditions, material and technical basis.

Later the same day, Sahakyan visited the histological laboratory of the oncological dispensary of NKR ministry of health to familiarize himself with the conditions of its operation.

NKR Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Spartak Tevosyan and other officials accompanied the President, the Central Information Department at the Artsakh President’s Office reported.
