Armenian opposition promises “surprises” during April 8 rallyApril 7, 2011 - 14:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairperson of Social Democrat Hunchakian Party Lyudmila Sargsyan said that there will be surprises during the April 8 rally of the Armenian National Congress (ANC). The people are ready to create surprises, Sargsyan told journalists in Yerevan. “ANC will not only head to Liberty Square, but will enter it as well. ANC goes for pre-term presidential and parliamentary elections. The people see improvements in the country’s situation only in the authorities’ change,” she said. Member of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Artak Zakaryan said for his part that he waits for regular election, while the authorities continue implementing reforms. “The public is far from pre-term election and I urge ANC not to speak on behalf of the people, the more so as the Congress is interested only in grasping the power,” he said.
