Armenian sportsmen win 4 medals at Disability Swimming ChampionshipApril 7, 2011 - 18:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian sportsmen got off to a good start at Russia-hosted Disability Swimming Championship. The swimmers, representing the Armenian Federation of Disability Sport won 4 medals (1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze) competing in 50 m freestyle and 100 m breaststroke disciplines. Margarita Hovakimyan, Avag Tonoyan and Artak Davtyan represented Armenia at the championship. On April 7, Armenian sportsmen are competing in 50 m backstroke and 400 m breaststroke discipline. The winners will qualify for participation in European Championship due June 3-10 in Berlin, Federation of Disability Sport told PanARMENIAN.Net Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on April 28.
