 EP resolution is message to Baku, NKR official says April 8, 2011 - 17:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The resolution of the European Parliament proved that Nagorno Karabakh Republic is perceived as an integral part of Europe, according to the adviser of NKR Foreign Minister Ruben Zargaryan. As the NKR official reminded, in accordance with March 11, 1999 EP resolution, the internationally legal validity of Karabakh independence was accepted. On April 7, 2011, EP adopted a resolution, urging to consider informal contacts and consultations with de facto authorities of the breakaway territories. “Baku administration repeatedly questioned the sense in holding Karabakh talks, expressing unwillingness to implement any real steps to settle the issue.
