The delegation arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the Republican Party of Armenia. Mr. Sargsyan said that China has always been a reliable partner for Armenia, due to which the Armenian-Chinese relations development is among priorities of the Armenian foreign policy. The Armenian leader praised China’s balanced stance in regional problems and noted that the country’s involvement will only contribute to peace enforcement, as well as social and economic development of the region. “Our relations develop on a firm basis. Armenia is a reliable and important partner for us,” said Changchun. The parties attached importance to boosting cooperation in the trade, economic, scientific, technical and educational fields. The Chinese delegation included businessmen, who will participate in the Armenian-Chinese business forum. The parties also referred to the development of inter-party relations. Changchun noted that the Communist Party of China cooperates with the Republican Party of Armenia for 12 years, what contributes to boosting relations between the two countries, the RA presidential press service reported.
