When will Armenia have long lines for tablets?April 12, 2011 - 14:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Every day, American websites and blogs covering the IT sphere report about new tablets, pads and similar upgrading devices. One gets the impression that Americans have already forgotten all about PCs, notebooks and netbooks. Most every American can afford buying iPads, Galaxy tabs, Xooms and other stuff like this. The long lines at Apple stores prove the fact. Even iPad commercials suggest using iPads as books, pens or any item of everyday use. However, outside North America continent, and especially in Armenia, notebooks and netbooks are still sales leaders. Armenian pupils need wealthy parents to have a possibility to buy tablets for their children. Considering the fact that tablets in Armenian stores are few in number and very expensive, the number of tablet users in Armenia might grow only within several years. Some people in Armenia just recently started considering buying netbooks. Some find friends travelling to US to ask them to bring iPad 2s on their way back. This is a way for them to save money and stay tuned with new technologies. Just wondering when will Armenia have long lines for tablets like it does now for iphones.
