Sefilyan labels Levon Ter-Petrossian’s April 8 speech as defeatist

PanARMENIAN.Net - Member of Sardarapat movement Zhirayr Sefilyan labeled the speech of the leader of Armenian National Congress (ANC), Armenia’s first President Levon Ter-Petrossian during the April 8 rally as defeatist.

Sefilyan added that the ANC should send an appeal containing a pretext to the authorities, rather than make defeatist statements, the press service of Sardarapat movement reported.

Sefilyan also commented on “Levon Ter-Petrossian – president” slogan. He noted that the ANC leadership exerted pressure and silenced ‘Now’ shouts of the rally participants. Sefilyan said that “Levon Ter-Petrossian – president” slogan can be rejected for the sake of the current authorities’ ouster, what was declared by Ter-Petrossian as the main goal in the mean time.
