SCR plans to work without losses in 2011April 14, 2011 - 14:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Director General of South Caucasus Railways (SCR) Shevket Shaydullin said that SCR plans to achieve breakeven operation in 2011. The company’s Board of Directors set serious tasks for increasing profitability, as well as securing 16% growth in incomes compared to 2010 while forming the 2011 budget, Shaydullin told a press conference in Yerevan. According to him, SCR plans to attach greater importance to improvement of the system of budget administration, facilitation of the company’s transparency. Shaydullin added that in 2010 the company started working by the system of international financial accounting and reporting. Besides, an audit in compliance with international standards was carried out by famous BTO audit company. “The main factor of 2010 budget process is that we started assigning basic directions of activity for separate business units, segments,” concluded Shaydullin.
