Tourist accommodation one of the key problems in Armenian tourism

PanARMENIAN.Net - The recent inflow of tourists brought forward an accommodation issue, which is currently one of the key problems of the Armenian tourism, according to the head of tourism and territorial administration department at Armenian Economy Ministry.

As Mekhak Apresyan told a news conference in Yerevan, the tourist accommodation issue creates demand for new hotels, which is good news for Armenian businessmen. Unsatisfactory command of foreign language was another issue Apresyan pointed at.

As he also noted, Iranian tourists expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of information signs in Farsi at Armenian museums. “In this connection we instructed museum employees to provide Iranian visitors with exhibit information in their native language,” Apresyan stated.
