 VISIT OF THE ARMENIAN FOREIGN MINISTER TO IRAQ IS OVERFebruary 26, 2001 - 19:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, February 26. /Mediamax/. The opening ceremony of the Armenian embassy in Baghdad took place during the working visit of the Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian to Iraq on Feb. 25-26.As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Armenia, possibilities of trade-economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed during the visit. Vardan Oskanian and Iraqi vice-premier Tariq Aziz stressed at a meeting the necessity of creating appropriate agreement-legal basis. The parties also discussed possible perspectives of reconsidering UN's sanctions against Iraq.
