Azeris won't succeed in destroying traces of Armenian presence in country

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenians, residing in Baku and other Azerbaijani cities were one of the state-forming nations of modern Azerbaijan, according to an associate professor of history, expert Alik Gharibyan.

As the expert noted at Yerevan-hosted scientific conference on Azerbaijan's anti-Armenian propaganda, the 1920 official calendar released in Baku is a life proof of the substantial contribution of Azerbaijan's Armenians.

“Azeri propaganda seeks to exterminate any trace of Armenians in the history of the country. Yet the official calendar clearly proves that the number of Armenians residing in Azerbaijan exceeded that of other ethnic groups,” Gharibyan said.
