Turkish art workers to protest against demolition of Kars-based Monument to Humanity

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 23, Kars will host a rally to protest the demolition of the Monument to Humanity, said ex-Mayor of Kars, Naif Alibeyoglu, who initiated the construction of the monument.

“By ordering demolition of the monument, Prime Minister Ergodan boosted world awareness of Kars,” he noted.

As a monument author, sculptor Mehmet Aksoy noted, on April 23, 200 art workers will arrive in Kars to join the protesters, Haberler reported.
