Armenia-Sweden parliamentary friendship group to boost relations between countriesApril 25, 2011 - 15:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received Chairperson of Armenia-Sweden friendship group of the Riksdag of the Kingdom of Sweden Annelie Enochson and member of the group Fredrik Malm. Nalbandian stressed the important activity of the parliamentarians in boosting the Armenian-Swedish relations and praised the group’s contribution to the Armenian Genocide recognition by the Swedish parliament. The guests said they will continue efforts aimed at strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries. Nalbandian briefed the Swedish parliamentarians on basic directions in Armenia’s foreign policy, EU-Armenia cooperation, as well as the country’s stance on regional problems, the RA MFA press service reported.
