The book was translated into Spanish through the efforts and financial assistance of 89-year-old Armenian Anahit Barikian. The event kicked off with the welcoming remarks by the Armenian ambassador to Argentina Vladimir Karmirshalyan. Johannes Lepsius (1858, Potsdam, Germany - 1926, Meran, Italy) was a German Protestant missionary, Orientalist, and humanist with a special interest in trying to prevent the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
