According to her, in Yerevan, the life expectancy for men and women is 70.6 and 77 years respectively; in Shirak – 67.3 and 73.8 years; in Lori – 67.9 and 74.4 years. Kuyumjyan noted that the index of life expectancy in Armenia is higher compared to CIS member states, but lower than in European countries. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
