  Interpol urges extra vigilance after bin Laden’s death May 2, 2011 - 15:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The global police agency Interpol called for increased security measures Monday, May 2, warning that the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden could provoke reprisal attacks around the world. Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble urged “extra vigilance” from “law enforcement authorities to a heightened terror risk from al-Qaeda affiliated or al-Qaeda inspired terrorists as a result of Bin Laden’s death,” AFP reported. The mastermind of the worst terrorist attack on American soil is dead, U.S. President Barack Obama announced late May 1 night, almost 10 years after the attacks that killed more than 3,000 people. Osama bin Laden - the longtime leader of al Qaeda - was killed by U.S. forces in a mansion outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad along with other family members.
